What are Personal Folders?
Your Personal Folders are all Folders and Subfolders that you have created.
These Folders are located on the left side of your IncrediMail, underneath your Default Folders in the Folder List.
What is the Deleted Items folder?
The Deleted Items folder contains all Messages you deleted, or those your Protection Center deleted. It is located in the Folder List on the left side of your IncrediMail (marked in red).
As extra protection, this folder will save messages, just in case you deleted accidentally.
To retrieve the message, simply right-click on it, choose 'Move to Folder' and choose your Folder.
Please Note: Once a message is deleted from the Deleted Items, it cannot be retrieved.
What is the Sent Items folder?
The 'Sent Items' Folder (marked below in red), located in your main IncrediMail window, is where all sent messages are located (unless you have deleted them).
If you do not see your messages, they may be in the Outbox (marked in blue) - if so, check your connection, and that you're not Working Offline.
What is the Outbox, and where can I find it?
The IncrediMail Outbox (marked in red), located in the Message Folder list, is where all unsent messages are located.
If your Outbox is empty, it will be hidden (as shown below), and you will not see it.
Unless you are Working Offline, or you have an issue with your connection and a message is stuck there, the Outbox should be empty (therefore you will not see it).
What is the Inbox?
The IncrediMail Inbox is the Main Folder where all your New Messages will be when you receive them, unless you have Protection Center, or Messages Rules set for Incoming Messages.
What are IncrediMail's Default Folders?
IncrediMail Folders, which contain all your Messages, are listed in the Folder Pane on the left side of your main IncrediMail window. You have several groups of Folders, and many ways of managing the Folders and Messages within (Default and Personal). Also included in this list are several other options (Flagged and Invite a Friend).
The Default Folders in IncrediMail 2 are:
- Inbox - All New Messages will arrive in this folder.
- Outbox - Messages are saved here when a user is Working Offline, or if there is an issue with your connection. This folder is hidden by default unless there is a message in it.
- Sent Items - All messages are saved here after they are sent.
- Deleted Items - Any messages that you have deleted. You cannot retrieve these messages.
- Spam - Spam messages (Only for Protection Center members).
- Drafts - Messages that are not ready to be sent.
What is the Status Window?
The Status Window is located in the upper right-hand corner of your main IncrediMail window. It will normally show advertisements from IncrediMail or sponsors.
Upon upgrading to a IncrediMail Plus Subscription, you not only receive all the great benefits of IncrediMail Plus, but you will be able to click inside the Status Window to change the Display:
- Digital 12-hour Clock
- Digital 24-hour Clock
- Analog/Calendar Clock
Please Note: The Calendar and Time in the Status Window are based on your Computer Date and Time settings.
